Who are you and what do you do?
"My name is Ella Weedon and I am the Founder and Creative Director of Socially Speaking; a social media marketing agency. I create and manage each service within the agency and run all aspects of the business. I am a recent graduate from the University of East London for Music Performance and Production. The business would desire to work with any niche, but with my personal history in music, we specialise in marketing in the music industry, be that for labels, artists or management services."
What prompted you to start 'Socially Speaking'?
"Born into the age of social media and in gaining a love for all things social entertainment, it was inevitable that I was going to end up working in social media. The main reason for starting the business was because I believe there is a real vitality in making sure business' have the best online presence in this day and age. I wanted to be able to share my skills with other business owners and help leverage their business into more success.

Who inspired you to start your own business?
"Ooo, there are so many people!
From the social media marketing/online business world, to name a few, I would probably say Jordan Platten and Gary Vee.
In my personal life, most of my family have their own business' so the ambition of self-employment comes from them. Also, I am lucky to be surrounded by many creative people who I get to call friends, and seeing their drive and success definitely steered me in this direction."

"Hmmm, I would probably say:

Finally, what are 3 tips you would give someone who is thinking of starting their own business?
"The 3 tips I would give would be:
1. Make sure you love what you're doing.
2. Allow yourself to make mistakes; it'll be the best thing you do for your business and yourself as a business person.
3. Be yourself; no one can be a better you than you."
